PleasureMed is one of sixteen consumption lounges licensed by West Hollywood, and easily the most theatrical. Built inside a 6,500 sq ft warehouse conversion on Santa Monica Boulevard — part of a 50,000 sq ft “pleasure campus” that also houses the sex-positive retailer Pleasure Chest — the dispensary was designed by Studio Unltd with imported Moroccan cabinetry, marble floors, and a vintage wooden fridge founder Brian Robinson shipped in specifically to hold cannabis beverages.
The flower menu leans toward Emerald Cup winners like Fig Farms and Kush Company Cultivation, and the beverage case pulls from California’s growing lineup of licensed THC drinks — bottled seltzers, tonics, and shots, all at the state’s 10 mg-per-serving cap. Cannabis is purchased at the dispensary counter and consumed in the adjoining lounge, where bongs and dab rigs are available for rent. Walk-ins are welcome; no reservations required.
Food lives next door at Irie, the campus’s sit-down restaurant, which converted to alcohol-only service after launch — a legal necessity, since California prohibits alcohol and cannabis service in the same room. The upshot: dinner and consumption happen in separate rooms of the same building, closer in spirit to a European bar-and-café pair than to the everything-under-one-roof model at Original Cannabis Cafe. Cocktail lounge Hind rounds out the campus with al-fresco drinks. All spaces 21+ with valid ID.

Easily the most beautiful dispensary I've been in — the Moroccan cabinetry and marble floors feel like a hotel bar in Marrakech, not a weed shop. Staff walked me through the beverage fridge and the lounge next door is dialed in.
The consumption lounge is small but well-run. Loved that they rent clean glass so you don't have to bring your own. Food side is separate — plan to eat at Irie either before or after, not during.

Beautiful space, but the split between dispensary, lounge, and restaurant makes the whole experience feel choppier than it needs to. Wish you could just sit down with your drink and stay put.
Went for a Saturday afternoon — chill crowd, incredible design, and the beverage fridge is the best in town. Grabbed dinner at Irie after, which worked out fine even though it's technically a separate business.
