Potshotz opened near University and Snelling as one of Minnesota’s first bars built around THC-infused cocktails — not just canned seltzers, but house “pot-tails” that riff on the classics. The Cannabis Sunrise swaps tequila for a THC shot over orange juice and grenadine; the Granddaddy Purple pairs a THC shot with alcohol-free blue curaçao and 7-Up. Everything is alcohol-free.
The room leans social club as much as bar: weekly bingo, table tennis, pinball, board games, video games, and the occasional stand-up night or DJ set, all in the former Hot Rod’s Bar & Grill space in St. Paul’s Midway. It’s built for lingering, not just for a quick drink.
Potshotz has since added a dispensary counter alongside the bar, so you can pick up flower, vapes, and edibles to go after your pot-tail. On-menu drinks follow Minnesota’s hemp-derived THC rules; dispensary products follow the state’s adult-use limits.
