The Lit Café opened on December 28, 2024 inside FourTwenty Collections’ Las Cruces flagship — the former Si! Italian Bistro on East Idaho Avenue, two miles from New Mexico State University. It’s positioned as the state’s first true all-in-one cannabis venue: dispensary, consumption lounge, and a working restaurant kitchen serving New Mexico-inspired plates, not a snack case.
The menu leans local. An infused biscochito shake (the state cookie, blended into a milkshake with a THC dose) is the signature drink; a green chile burger anchors the food side; nachos with green chile, beef, and cheese and a rotating wings program keep the crowd fed during Fight Night watch parties. Taco Tuesdays are a regular. The venue programs live events aggressively — DJ nights, karaoke, open mic, and community bingo among them.
Founded by Marvina Thomas, previously Arizona’s first Black dispensary owner, FourTwenty is a woman- and minority-owned business named Las Cruces Emerging Business of the Year in 2023. 21+, no alcohol.
