Infused drinks and edibles sold in New Jersey follow the state's adult-use limits — 10 mg of THC per serving and 100 mg per package. Adults 21+ may possess up to 1 oz of flower, 5 g of concentrate, or 1,000 mg of ingestible cannabis.
New Jersey doesn't issue a standalone lounge license. A consumption area is an endorsement on a Class 5 Retailer license, and any single entity may operate only one consumption area statewide — regardless of how many dispensaries it owns.
Consumption is legal only inside a licensed consumption area or on private property with the owner's permission. Public use — sidewalks, parks, boardwalks, vehicles — is prohibited and generally follows the state's cigarette-smoking rules.
Licensed cannabis consumption areas cannot sell alcohol, tobacco, food, or mocktails. Guests may bring in sealed non-alcoholic beverages and, at most venues, order in food from nearby restaurants for delivery to the lounge.
